Did you know that 2016 will mark the 400th Anniversary of Shakespeare’s death in 1616?  I didn’t know that either, but thanks to Graham Mills’ post in the forums, now I do!  Yet another reason to read those forums folks. An anniversary like this deserves some virtual world attention. Virtual worlds give us an opportunity to walk around in a historical setting which is a great way to both enjoy a beautiful setting and learn something.  If you are interested in virtual historical recreations or Shakespeare, join in with the discussion in the forum.

One Shakespeare project already underway in Kitely is a season of plays by the New Media Arts Avatar Repertory Theatre.  They’re still in discussions, but I heard a little hint that the Valentines Day performance might be the Two Gentlemen of Verona.  (Keep it under your feathered caps for now.)
